Born and raised in Breaux Bridge LA. Jen graduated from Teurlings Catholic High School, class of 2002. She then attended The University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management in 2006 (hotel, restaurant and tourism management) She worked all through College as a waitress/shiftleader/accountant/cook/janitor ect at Hub City Diner... some of the BEST soul food in town! And she hopes to one day fufill her life long dream of owning and running her own Restaurant in her hometown of Breaux Bridge. Maybe when she retires!! Nothing big... just a mom and pop shop cooking, making people happy and doing what I love to do best!
Jen welcomed a sweet baby girl into the world on December 6, 2009... Emalee Jeanne Patin!!!! And could not be happier to join the world of motherhood! Its been quite an amazing journey so far, and "mommy" is the greatest and most rewarding title she will ever hold! She LOVES animals and is the proud 'parent' of a Cat, Mimi, and 2 Weimaraners, Bailey and Annabelle... that are her life!!!! Cooking is a passion of hers! You name it, and she can cook it! I love trying new foods, weather in my own kitchen or in someone elses! She loves country music and LOVES her Job and would also like to thank Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley every single day of her life for coming to Lafayette in 2006... I applied for the "Blind Date" contest on KXKC... and TADA!!! You are hired! And from then on, I was hooked in the amazing world of RADIO!!

Her beautiful baby girl Emalee Jeanne, Her family, and spending time with them, her poochie dogs, cooking great food and enjoying a good glass of wine while doing so, sushi, concerts, beach vacations, her one and only brother who inspires her on a daily basis, scrapbooking, shoes, lounging out in PJs all day if she could, photography, the color red, watching anything on the food network, music, Mr. Lesters, hosting dinner shindigs for a crowd, her Mom's never ending support, and her Dad's outlook and perspective of the real world, singing karaoke, tailgating, wine nights with the girls, or enjoying a glass of wine with the right person, lazy Sundays and family dinners, bowling, chocolate covered strawberries, her Daddy's More Casserole, sewing, reading anything and everything, and cheesecake is her ultimate weakness. Oh, and she has a serious obsession with Gary Allen, the love of her life... :)
