For the 27th time in his career, George Strait has the Top Country Album on the Billboard chart. He currently holds the record for the most number ones. Honky Tonk Time Machine, Strait’s first album in 4 years, moved 51,000 units over the last week to take the top spot and indicates the biggest sales week in the country genre.
He is currently more than ten number ones over Garth Brooks and Willie Nelson, who both have 17 number one Country albums each.
