We really can all still be Toys R Us kids when the company announced today that they plan to reopen later this year. While it won’t be the same Toys R Us that most of us grew up with, they are adapting to the latest shopping trends. Only opening half a dozen stores, their much smaller retail locations will be around 10,000 square feet and will include experiences – like play areas. In addition, they will position themselves as an e-commerce player, to go head to head with those companies who’ve stepped up in their absence.
