WHO: The Salvation Army Baton Rouge Area

WHAT: The 2023 Shield of Hope Fundraiser featuring a live performance by country group Diamond Rio.

Thanks to the generosity of the event’s title sponsor, Regions Bank, several hundred guests will gather at Manship Theatre to mingle, enjoy food and drink and then attend the live performance by the Nashville-based band Diamond Rio, which has sold more than 10 million albums in addition to winning a Grammy, a Dove and six Vocal Groups of the Year Awards.

WHERE: Manship Theatre; 100 Lafayette St., Baton Rouge, LA 7080

WHY: Since 1919, The Salvation Army of Greater Baton Rouge has been changing lives and striving to improve our community. Unfortunately, with the recent economic downturn due to inflation, many people in our community cannot meet their basic needs. Many of these individuals turn to us, The Salvation Army, to help provide shelter, food, social services, and other urgent aid. This fundraiser will assist us in meeting our mission of helping those in need in our community.

HOW TO PURCHASE TICKETS

Diamond, Platinum, Gold, or Shield of Hope Family Sponsorships are still available. Starting on April 11, individual tickets, if available, will go on sale. Ticket prices are $250 and provide entrance into the fundraiser, food and drink and the concert. Tickets can be purchased by going to www.manshiptheatre.org or calling (225) 344-0334.
