Big 7 Travel recently released their Top 50 Sexiest Accents in The USA list and New Orleans and Cajun made the list.
New Orleans’s “Yat” accent comes in at #25. Of the accent, Big 7 said, “…Yats say “doze” for those and drop the r’s.”
A little higher on the list, Cajun, comes in at #15. Explained as “…most strongly influenced by Cajun French, and experiencing a revival as younger people want to celebrate their heritage.”
What was number one? That Texas accent. Danita approves! 😉
