Call it, The One Where Netflix Says Bye to Friends. After 2019, you will no longer be able to stream the beloved comedy through the monthly membership site. The entire Friends lineup. 236 episodes, will be moving to new streaming service, HBO Max. The sitcom will join The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Pretty Little Liars on the new service that is promised to “…bring together the diverse riches of WarnerMedia to create programming and user experiences not seen before in a streaming platform,” WarnerMedia Entertainment and Direct-To-Consumer chairman Robert Greenblatt said in a statement. “HBO’s world-class programming leads the way, the quality of which will be the guiding principle for our new array of Max Originals, our exciting acquisitions, and the very best of the Warner Bros. libraries, starting with the phenomenon that is ‘Friends.’”
